Measures
Neither Caswell Credit Union, nor any of our business partners or vendors,
will EVER solicit information from you via email or other electronic communication.
Any electronic communication which may appear
to come from us, the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), or our
associates, that asks you to visit a website or submit financial information,
is an attempt to fraudulently acquire your personal data and should be
deleted without being opened.
Confidentiality
of Member Information
We will not collect any information about you personally (for example
name, address, or telephone number) unless you voluntarily provide it.
If you do not want information collected, please do not submit it to us,
via email, application or any other means. If you do voluntarily provide
us with information, we reserve the right to retain and use this information
and may use it to contact you about products or services in which you
have expressed an interest, or for other reasons related to your business
with us. We will NOT, however, share any of the information collected
on individual members by Caswell Credit Union with any other organization,
except where that organization partners or assists us in providing members
with products and services. In that circumstance, the outside agency or
company is acting on our behalf and is obligated to maintain the confidentiality
of the information that we provide. Information may also be exchanged
with consumer reporting agencies and provided when legally required or
permitted in connection with litigation, fraud investigation, or an acquisition
or sale.

Our Home Financial
Service CU @ Home and VISA Online Access may use cookies (a piece of data
that a web site can send to your browser, which is then stored on your
computer) to identify and assist you with the use of the service. In addition,
there are links from our site to other sites, and upon leaving our site
to enter the site of a third party it is possible that you may be served
with a cookie.
We will not ask you
to submit financial data, account numbers, or other identifying information
on this website. Financial transactions, loan applications, and credit
card services are provided through CU @ Home and VISA Online Access, which
are third party sites that only allow access through browsers that support
Secure Socket Layers (SSL). SSL ensures that electronic data communicated
between your browser and these sites cannot be read by a third party,
even if the data is intercepted.
Both of these sites
require that you enter an account number or User ID and Personal Identification
Number (PIN) to verify your identity, and will deny access after a certain
number of invalid attempts. They use firewalls that serve as control points
to stop invasive data from entering their systems and assuring that only
